Founder and Member (He / Him) - FilmmakingÂ
A storyteller since high school, I have always been captivated by the world of art and film. I took my first steps into storytelling as a child, making up scary stories like the ones I heard on the playground and sharing those stories with my friends.
From that point onwards I started writing and am yet to stop, from short stories to web series, storytelling has always been the core of my artistic expression and a great source of challenge and satisfaction for me.
I went on to get a diploma and advanced diploma in film and tv, learning as much as I could about the art and craft of film. I went off to create my first short film 'Kandahar' in 2019, since then I have been hooked and have consistently made 2 short films a year, with many of them available for view on this website.
While completing my bachelor of screen media I discovered my second love, Advertising, leading me to peruse a career in the space, going on to create the 2022 and 2023 TVC campaigns for Clark Rubber along with countless freelance gigs.
Besides this, I am an avid painter, nature photographer and experimental filmmaker, using these three mediums to test and train my own creativity. I enjoy the bush walking, archery and anything to do with the outdoors.
I have a passion for creating and supporting Australian artistic expression, therefore as an artist I wish to continue the greater Australian storytelling narrative and explore the film and experimental film mediums. I draw a great amount of inspiration from Johnothan Glazer, filmmaker famous for his films 'Under the Skin' and 'Zone of Interest', an English filmmaker who got his start in advertising, directing commercials.
It is my goal to follow a similar path to Glazer, creating as many enthralling advertisements, films and stories as I can to further the Australian storytelling landscape.
I wish to do this through creating more short films, more experimental films, and more advertisements.
This passion led me to creating 'No Enemy', believing that my skills should not be capitalized for nfp work.
